Spring Hockey
All 8th graders, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors currently attending (or will attend) Metea Valley, Waubonsie Valley, Wheaton North or Wheaton Warrenville South in the 2025/2026 school year are welcome to participate.
Spring Details
The Warriors Hockey Club is planning to have two teams (one Varsity and one Junior Varsity) this spring.
First practice for JV will be Thursday, March 27th (7:30-8:30 PM).
Each team will have a practice on Wednesday, April 9th (JV 7:05-8:35 PM and Varsity 8:45-10:15 PM) and we will have a joint skill skate/goalie clinic with both JV and Varsity together on April 10th from 8:30-10:00 PM.
Our regular weekly practice schedule will then start the week of April 14th and end May 28th . Each team will practice once per week and will alternate days each week. The practice slots are at All Seasons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10:00 PM.
All schedules are being loaded onto the club website.
Tryouts
Tryouts will be held on March 24th and March 25th at All Seasons Ice Rink. All players trying out for Spring will be required to attend. Final rosters will be published on Wednesday, March 26th. Tryout schedule is as follows:
Monday, March 24th – all players required: 8:30 to 10:00 PM (All Seasons Red)
Tuesday, March 25th - all players required except Varsity Warriors going to Nationals: 8:30 to 10:00 PM (All Seasons Blue)
Spring League
Teams will compete in the Spring League coordinated with top Illinois West and North Central teams. The teams participating in this league are BGHW, Notre Dame, Deerfield, Carmel Catholic, Glenbard, Maine, DuPage, and OPRF. The coaching staff determined this league was the best fit for both Varsity and JV teams from a competitive and developmental standpoint. The season will consist of 7 to 8 games primarily on Saturdays and Sundays (some weekday games possible) and will run from April 5 to May 25. Home games will be at All Seasons and away games will take place out of West Meadows Ice Arena (3939 Winnetka Ave, Rolling Meadows 60008) or hosted at other teams’ home ice.
Fees
Skater fee of $700 and Goalie fee of $350 will be paid via Crossbar website and include team practices, games and training for goalies. Any player new to the club will have a new player fee of $100 for spring jersey, socks, shell and hoodie. Any existing player in need of new spring jersey, spring socks, fall shell or hoodie can purchase as well.

2025 Spring
